The audience stream is working, but my call is not#

Watching a YouTube broadcast and connecting to the creator's two-way conversation use different paths. A working player does not prove that your call has connected. Check the invitation state, permissions, and network, then use camera, audio, and connection guidance.

I can hear everything twice#

Audience playback and the direct call can reproduce the same conversation at different times. During your turn, mute or pause the audience player and use headphones if appropriate. Creators should also check OBS audio sources for duplication.

The queue moved before I saw it happen on video#

Broadcast playback may be behind the real session. Follow Cittly's current participation state for joining your turn; do not wait for the delayed video to catch up before responding to an invitation.

I waited but did not speak#

Queue entry does not guarantee a turn. The creator may skip a participant, apply the announced eligibility rules, lose connectivity, or end the event. Read the session description. Any actual paid interaction needs its own stated delivery and cancellation terms.

My queue or settings appeared on the stream#

Stop or change the capture immediately. Review the OBS preview and which window or display is selected. Choose a clean output, close sensitive notifications, and remove exposed credentials from use if necessary. Send support a safe description without sharing those credentials.

The YouTube player is unavailable#

The stream may have ended, the creator may have changed its visibility or embedding settings, or YouTube may restrict playback. Use the creator's official information and the controls offered by the player. Do not use unofficial extraction tools to bypass restrictions.

Can I watch without switching on my camera?#

Audience viewing does not make you the active participant. Joining the speaking stage is a separate step with permissions and consent. Follow the event's eligibility and joining controls.

Can I record my speaking turn?#

Obtain informed permission from everyone involved and follow the session rules and applicable law. A creator's permission to broadcast their event is not automatic permission for every participant to record or republish every other person.

The session ended unexpectedly#

Check whether the creator ended the event or the connection failed. Do not assume the queue will persist or rejoin you at the same place. Contact support@cittly.com with the event identifier, time and time zone, device/app version, and the state you saw. Never include passwords, OTPs, or another person's private conversation.
