Ban evasion & enforcement abuse

Do not bypass account restrictions, Channel freezes, or permanent bans.

Respect an active restriction#

If Cittly restricts or bans your account, do not use another account, borrowed credentials, an alternate identity, or another person to continue the prohibited activity. A temporary suspension also prohibits participating through a replacement account during the restriction.

For a Channel freeze or ban, do not recreate or rename the Channel to resume the same restricted activity. Moving abuse into another community does not make it acceptable. An uninvolved member is not automatically banned for joining a different legitimate Channel.

Account and Channel action#

Deliberate evasion can lead to enforcement against the accounts or replacement Channels involved, including immediate permanent action for severe evasion. See account enforcement and Channel enforcement.

Owning another account or managing another legitimate community does not by itself prove evasion. The concern is using them to bypass a restriction or continue prohibited conduct.

Do not manipulate reports or reviews#

Do not submit fabricated evidence, impersonate a reporter, coordinate false complaints, threaten a person for reporting, or retaliate against someone involved in an appeal. A good-faith report that is not upheld is not automatically a false report.

Use the review route#

If you believe the action was incorrect, use enforcement appeals. A permanent decision permits one formal appeal. Buying Pro, creating another account, or deleting the app does not remove the decision.

Protect your credentials#

Never give someone access to your account so they can bypass their ban or handle an appeal in your name. If your account was compromised, contact [support@cittly.com](mailto:support@cittly.com) without sending passwords or login codes, and explain the circumstances.
