# Reporting & appeals Raise a concern or ask for a moderation review. Operator: Cittly tech Updated: 2026-10-11 Scope: All Cittly versions Canonical: https://docs.cittly.com/reporting-and-appeals ## Report inside Cittly Use the in-app **Report button or form** to submit concerns about a user, content, or live interaction. Explain what happened and identify the relevant account, channel, or content when possible. The location of the control can vary by app version. For a child-safety concern, follow the [child safety reporting instructions](/child-safety#how-to-report-a-concern). Do not attach suspected CSAM or redistribute harmful material. ## What to include - The relevant account name and content or channel identifier. - The date and approximate time of the incident. - A concise explanation of the rule you believe was violated. - Your contact information if a response is needed. Never send passwords, sign-in codes, unnecessary identity documents, or financial credentials. ## Channel decisions A channel owner can enforce channel rules and manage membership. Contact the owner through available channel tools when asking about a channel-only decision. Platform violations can be reported to Cittly even if a channel owner approved the content. ## Request a review If you believe Cittly took action in error, use the in-app report/contact route to request an appeal. Include your account identifier, any decision reference, and the reason you believe the decision should be reconsidered. Do not create a new account to evade the restriction. If the in-app route is inaccessible, contact [Cittly tech](mailto:support@cittly.com) with a clear subject such as “Moderation appeal”. A review does not guarantee reversal.
