# Q&A broadcasts, recordings & YouTube Know who can watch, what may be recorded, and how audience playback differs from your call. Operator: boolyapps & cittly tech (boolymac) Updated: 2026-10-15 Canonical: https://docs.cittly.com/q-and-a-broadcasts ## Private calls and public sessions An ordinary one-to-one live call is different from a creator Q&A that is deliberately broadcast to an audience. Cittly does not routinely record ordinary live calls. A creator may use external tools, including OBS or YouTube, to broadcast or record a session. Do not assume a Q&A is private or public solely because a queue is visible. Review the event's notice before participating. The creator must explain the audience, whether a recording or replay will exist, and intended publication, then obtain informed permission from stage participants. ## What viewers see The audience may watch the creator and current selected fan while other participants wait. Being in the waiting queue does not itself grant permission to publish your own camera or microphone. Queue controls and private dashboard information should be kept outside the clean broadcast output. ## Embedded YouTube playback Where an event uses YouTube, its official player can appear inside Cittly alongside the queue and session controls. The video remains YouTube content, with its required branding, controls, and platform behavior. Availability depends on the creator's stream and embedding settings. YouTube viewing is not the selected fan's two-way call. Audience playback can be delayed or interrupted. An active participant should use the direct conversation and avoid duplicate playback audio. ## Recording, replay, and clips Creators must disclose recording and publication intentions before a fan joins. Following the creator or joining a queue is not blanket consent. A YouTube stream may have a replay, and viewers may independently capture material. Do not share anything on stage that you are unwilling to expose to the disclosed audience. Requests involving an external YouTube replay or creator-held recording may need to be directed to the creator or the external service as well as Cittly. Deleting your Cittly account does not automatically remove independently held copies. Cittly's support can receive a concern, but this guide does not promise control over every outside copy. ## Advertising and fees YouTube may show its own advertising. Those ads are separate from Cittly's AdMob placements. Cittly must not obscure or replace the YouTube player's advertising, branding, or controls. This guide does not authorize charging for viewing embedded YouTube content or placing Cittly advertisements inside its player. ## Change your mind or report a concern You may decline participation or end your live conversation. Leaving cannot undo an already-seen broadcast or guarantee removal of outside captures.
