## Choose how you want to connect
Cittly brings together content discovery, live conversations, friendships, and interest-based communities. The current public app focuses on random chat. The expanded community experience is upcoming; your installed version may show fewer areas or different labels.

## Home and Vids
Home is the social feed for discovering posts and joining conversations through supported likes and comments. Vids is the vertical short-video feed. See [posts and Vids](/posts-and-vids) and [watching Vids](/watching-vids).

## Channels and Random
Channels bring people together around a person, subject, game, or shared interest. A Channel is more than a group chat: its intended experience combines community posts, members, and live interaction. Random is the app-wide way to discover someone for a one-to-one conversation. ## Friends and Profile
Friends helps you maintain connections beyond an initial discovery session. Profile represents you across Cittly. Messaging, calls, and image sharing depend on the features enabled in your version. Read [private conversations](/private-conversations) and [profile basics](/profile-basics).

## If an area is missing
Check which version you are using. A community guide does not mean its feature has shipped. Avoid downloading unofficial builds to obtain a feature; contact [support](/support-information) with your app version if availability is unclear.
