# Ads & recommendations Understand the difference between content interests and ad technology. Operator: Cittly tech Updated: 2026-10-10 Scope: Upcoming community release Canonical: https://docs.cittly.com/ads-and-recommendations ## Content recommendations Cittly uses what you engage with inside the app to help recommend relevant content. The operator's stated use of that interest data is the recommendation algorithm, not advertising. Cittly does not use activity outside its service for its own recommendations. ## AdMob advertising Vids and other supported areas may show advertising through Google AdMob. Ads must be distinguishable from ordinary content. A paid advertisement is not an endorsement by Cittly. Google documents that its Mobile Ads SDK can process IP addresses, interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers. The exact disclosure depends on the SDK version, configuration, consent settings, and any additional ad partners. Learn more from [Google's Mobile Ads data disclosure](https://developers.google.com/admob/android/privacy/play-data-disclosure) and [Google's Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy). ## Your choices Review any consent and ad-privacy choices presented in the app. Your device may also provide advertising-ID controls. These controls do not necessarily prevent all technical information from being processed to deliver or secure ads. ## Promotions by creators Creators must identify sponsorships and paid promotions clearly. No deceptive offers, false endorsements, financial scams, or promotion of content prohibited by our [community guidelines](/community-guidelines).
